About Correa De Albury
Paola Correa de Albury was born in Colombia in 1978.
From a very young age her curiosity and creativity has taken her on artistic journeys around the world.
A former career in advertising and teaching allowed Paola to discover the power of visual arts and communication. In the formative years of her artistic journey, Paola began to explore the different continents of the world through the medium of photography.
Falling in love in the Bahamas and with The Bahamas in 2006, Paola continued her career as a Spanish teacher, formed a family, and found artistic inspiration every single day.
Island life continues to gift Paola the opportunity to explore painting in a more formal way and continues to inspire her to capture Grand Bahama’s unique and enchanting beauty.
Paola’s creations capture the essence of the island's exotic birds, landscapes, underwater sceneries, people, textures and shapes, and they continue to capture the hearts and minds of art collectors around the world.
Currently Paola's artwork is featured in art galleries and hotels in The Bahamas, USA and Europe. You can also see Paola's work on the very popular TV show, “Modern Family '' as well as various TV commercials. Paola is very proud that her work also adorns the walls of the renovated wards of Grand Bahama own Rand Memorial Hospital.
